Cancelling a class

Open Sessions, find the class in your upcoming list, and press the cancel button on that row. You’ll see exactly how many gems come back before you confirm.

You can also cancel from inside the classroom, using the Cancel button at the top.

You can only cancel a class that hasn’t started yet.

What you get back

It depends how much notice you give:

Notice given	Refund	Penalty
24 hours or more	100%	none
2 to 24 hours	75%	25% withheld, 0.25 hearts
Under 2 hours	50%	50% withheld, 0.5 hearts

Your first late cancellation is forgiven — in the 2-to-24-hour window it’s treated as free, and under 2 hours it’s charged at the lower rate.

If your hearts are already low, penalties are multiplied: 2x below 4 hearts, 3x below 2 hearts. You can never lose more gems than the class cost.

If the teacher cancels

The student gets a 100% refund plus 2 gems compensation. The teacher takes the penalty instead, deducted from their future payouts.

If someone doesn’t show up

Marked absences are reviewed by an admin, and auto-confirm after 12 hours if nobody reviews them.

• Student no-show: the teacher receives 50% of the class rate. This replaces the class payment, it isn’t added to it.
• Teacher no-show: the student gets a 100% refund.

Either way the absent person loses 1 heart.

Cancelling several classes

Students cancel one at a time. If you need a lot cancelled at once, ask an admin — admins can cancel in bulk, and an admin cancellation is a full refund with no penalty to anyone.
